PHOTOWALK: Kankakee River State Park, Illinois
Join us tomorrow at Kankakee River State Park for capturing the beauty of autumn, the river, the trees, the rocks, etc. Enjoy time spent with photo-enthusiasts, practicing your photo skills, learning new skills, and absorbing the sunshine in the great outdoors during the best season. If you have never been on a photowalk, it is a group of people who stop to take photos as they walk. You get to see what captures other people’s eyes, learn what camera settings someone is using and why, and you get to ask lots of questions or just simply absorb what you see quietly. It is a time of camaraderie, developing friendships, and dedicating time to an activity that you love. For more information or if you have questions, contact Crouse Photography.
Kanakakee River State Park is a wonderful trip just 1 hour from downtown Chicago (south). Travel is easy with views of farm land, barns, silos, granaries, and harvesters busy at work. You can buy locally grown pumpkins and corn stalks for your autumn decorating while you are in the area.
The event is FREE, and there are no admission or parking fees at the park either.
