This and That Thursday: Summer Fairs
One of the great joys of summer is the fairs. There are so many things to see and do at a fair: animal exhibits, food exhibits, rides, music, crafts, tractor pulls, frog jumping competitions, pie eating contests, face painting, mazes to get lost in, and more and more to see and do. There are the smells and noises, the tastes and the lights. Where else can you eat fried ice cream, a turkey leg, a gigantic dill pickle, fried dough, and cotton candy, with freshly squeezed lemonade, all at the same place? Some fairs have helicopter rides and elephants to pet. Others have Corn Queens and others have fireworks. There is something sure to please almost everyone.
What do you like best about summer fairs? Did you visit one or more this summer? Share your experiences with us!
At Crouse Photography, we like the variety of people we get to meet as our clients, sort of like the variety of the fair. To schedule your portrait session or for some fine art, contact us today. We’d love to hear from you and maybe share stories of the fair.
