Sensational Saturdays: Taste of Baked Apple Goodness
Appealing to your sense of taste and smell, Baked Apple Goodness is a treat any time of day. It is both delicious and healthy, good for breakfast or snack, and not time consuming or difficult. Enjoy this treat at your house (recipe below). As usual, our recipes are flexible, adding and subtracting ingredients to fit your tastes and what you have available at the moment.

Baked Apple Goodness (makes 4 ramekins)
2 peeled and sliced apples (granny smith a favorite for us)
4 TB brown sugar
1/2 cup raw oats
1 TB flax seed
1 TB sunflower seeds
1/4 cp flour
1/4 ts cinnamon
1/2 cp cranberries
1 TB butter
Directions: Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add apples and toss until apples are coated. Divide into four ramekins. Place a slice of butter on top of each. Bake at 350 for approximately 40 minutes (until apples are soft).
