Photography Is For The Birds
My favorite subject to photograph is birds – birds of all kinds. From sparrows to bald eagles, no matter what they are doing, I almost always find it challenging and interesting to get good shots of them. I think I got my appreciation for birds from my friend Glenn. Usually the most difficult shot is that of the bird in flight, and have had some challenges getting acceptable shots, though I am getting better at it. The keys to getting good photos of birds are practice, taking multiple shots, and persistence. Where we live now, there are a significant number of types of birds that I really had not been around before, such as Brown Pelicans, Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets and Osprey. We even have a Bald Eagle or two living near us. If you have some interesting photos of birds, please share them! Here are a few of mine after the jump.
